I am who I think you think I am
I believe this is existentialism. That is I only exist when I am perceived by others.
Let's take this one step further. Everything you see and experience in this world is a reflection of what lies within you...from the teachings of Shingemubeppo. I'm not sure who that is; I stumbled upon this little gem while perusing the Japan Society website. It appeared in a synopsis of plays which they produce. I think it means we have 5 senses which we use to perceive the world around us. We take in stimuli, roll it around in our intellectual and emotional psyches and produce some conscious perception of our own particular reality which, of course, is colored by what lies within us and that would be the sum of all conscious past experiences wouldn't it.
