Miscellaneous

I'm not really sure what might end up in this forum category...but I thought I should make a "miscellaneous" category for things that just don't fit in the other ones.

I'm looking forward to seeing some posts to this category. I'm confident they will be unique and clever!

It is strange as I get older how I view friendship. When I was young, I thought of my friends as my peers , only people my age. But as I travel on this journey of life, I have come to see that friends can be anybody, any age, any sex, any profession,any race,any anythhing. Every person I meet has some value and some gift to give me ( small or large). Hopefully I also give gifts to the people I meet.

I enjoy collecting quotes; funny, witty, meaningful, historical, etc.

Here is one of my favorites:

I am not who I think I am. I am not who you think I am. I am who I think you think I am.

Here is one for you ----

" We are not human beings going through a temporary spititual experience.
We are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience."

Very nice, it's going on the list. Do you know who said it or where it came from?

This is a very interesting twist that this thread is taking. I love it. Perhaps I should make a whole topic for just this kind of thing. Keep 'em coming...I absolutely love "quotes". I find meditation on them to be among the most thought-provoking and potentially mind-changing activities we can participate in.

I don't know who wroye that quote. I got it in an email.
