This forum category is meant for us to share things that we find to be great bargains or great deals. I am a serious bargain lover! I am not by any stretch "cheap"...but I seem to get an unnatural thrill out of getting a deal.
Ok... enough about me. Let's get to something we can use!
I know of a place called Burlington Factory Clearance Outlet. It's on Rte 130 in Burlington and it is the original business now known as Burlington Coat Factory. I do not believe they are actually still affiliated with them anymore....but I am not absolutely sure. Here is what I can tell you about this place:
1) They get new stuff in each week and process it on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
2) They carry clothing, gourmet food stuff, luggage, leather coats and other coats, housewares and various other stuff.
3) They are open for public sale on Thursdays through Sundays.
4) The stuff is deeply discounted several times and then given a colored dot. The dot represents a discount of anywhere from 30% to 75% off the already deeply discounted price. For example...I recently purchased a pair of $50 dress slacks that were discounted down to $24.99. They were again reduced down to $12.99 and the dot I had made the final cost of these pants = $6.49. Can I tell you I was HAPPY!
I will say this...some of the stuff is aweful, so you have to be willing to spend some time and search. Since I love a bargain...I will make the effort (and the fact is...I hate to shop).
